As with 1.6 million others, I also registered for the Michael Jackson Memorial tickets not knowing if I can go or not, but thought I'd give it a shot(wasn't expecting anything since I've never actually won anything before). As I woke up this morning and scrolled thru the usual list of overnight emails in my inbox, I was surprised to see an email from "staple center"... Ofcourse I was expecting the usual "sorry, you were not picked...blah..blah..." but I was actually one of the 8 thousand something that won the lotto to get 2 tickets to the memorial service. WOW.....right?? One news article said winning MJ memorial tix was like a "real life version of Willy Wonka's golden ticket". So afterwork, I made the drive out to the Dodgers stadium to pickup my pair of tix/wrist bands for the event tomorrow. Now, I was denied day off tomorrow from work (which is understandale being a short notice and all) so I'm not sure if I can go. (it will not look good if I call in sick after I was denied day off request) But I'll decide in the morning. Eitherway, it's gonna be a once in a lifetime event, a great treat for 2 of my friends or a great souvenair.... and no, I will not sell them to make money off of a deadsoul.. RIP MJ
