My first post.... well let's start with my first....rap/hiphop song....

I still remember the very first Hiphop/rap songs I was exposed to growing up as a little kid. My dad had just given me a new Radio with a cassette deck. While I was playing around, flippin thru channels, I landed on a station that caught my attention. It was KDAY AM 1580 out here in Socal. Yes, for you young ones, there was a time when we used to listen to hiphop on AM dial.

The fast BPM beats, catch tunes, and what seemed like super fast lyrics they were spittin out at the time, my young mind was hooked on hiphop ever since. Think they played "give it all you got" by Afro-ricans very next track...2nd rap song to register in my brain. memories...
